arrival-in-split 9327

After the check-in and a mandatory toast to celebrate our meeting, we’ll start a warm-up followed by a tour of the Diocletian Palace in the heart of Split.
Then you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Split, taking part in his “movida” of its Waterfront from the terrace of a cool restaurant.

Overnight: Split - Spalato

Day 2: Island of Šolta

Cycling in quiet and picturesque roads
island-of-olta 2902

After your morning coffee, you will take a 1-hour ferry ride to Šolta, your first Dalmatian island.
Cycling on his narrow back roads, you'll visit small and quiet villages, olive groves, and vineyards. Optionally, you can stop by a honey production farm. After lunch, you'll jump again on the ferry to spend your evening in Split.

Overnight: Split - Spalato
Included: Breakfast

Day 3: Ride on Brač Island

White Limestone Island
ride-on-bra-island 1221

Let's discover Brac, the island an hour away by ferry from Split, the embarkations are right in the center of the city. This is the largest island of central-southern Dalmatia, famous for its blinding shine limestone, which has a composition very similar to marble. It has been used both for the construction of the imposing Diocletian's palace and for the construction of the White House in Washington. Our tour starts from Supetar port, goes into the heart of the island until it reaches 600 meters a.s.l., and then returns to the sea in the enchanting bay of Pučišća, deep as a fjord, where we recommend a lunch stop to enjoy this pretty village. For the avid ones, you can tackle another climb and additional kilometers, we propose the detour to Bol to admire the beach of Zlatni Rat, a real jewel of the Adriatic.

Overnight: Split - Spalato
Included: Breakfast

Day 4: Ride on Hvar Island

Historical sites, quiet roads, gardens, and olive groves
ride-on-hvar-island 9490

Today you'll sail to the fascinating Hvar, known as one of the most glamorous and trendy destinations on the Adriatic. But despite its fame, you will discover that the summer nightlife destination is just the village of Hvar. The rest of the island is a true oasis of peace, with flourishing agriculture and wild scenery. After disembarking, you'll start pedaling on this pristine island, probably one of our best rides ever: peaceful landscapes, incredible views over the archipelago, scent of Mediterranean bushes, immersed in a fertile countryside cultivated seamlessly since this was a colony of ancient Greece. Inland, along a beautiful climb, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dalmatian coast. You'll spend the afternoon in the village of Hvar, with its elegant Venetian medieval buildings, and his theatre, one of the oldest in Europe, which opened in 1612. Perched high on a hill overlooking the town, the gleaming white limestone walls of the medieval Spanjol Fortress give breathtaking views for those that climb to their summit. You can celebrate your day by having dinner at a lively restaurant in the old center.

Overnight: Hvar
Included: Breakfast

Day 5: The island of Korčula

Private boat and bike ride
the-island-of-kor-ula 3223

After the boat transfer, start with your bike ride on the island of Korčula, your place to stay for the next 2 nights.
Korčula is one of the early populated islands of Dalmatia, even before Greek times! It becomes an important port for the Venetians that built the still preserved old town, surrounded by walls.
The old town of Korčula is a succession of narrow streets branching off from the main thoroughfare like a backbone fish, designed to cut down on the impact of sun and wind providing its citizens with comfortable and sheltered accommodation. A fascinating place to explore, the Old Town also has numerous gothic, renaissance, and baroque palaces, monuments, and galleries.
Your ride will be on the scenic south side of the island, with amazing views on hidden beaches and coves, small villages with the local "konoba"s (taverns).

Overnight: Korcula
Included: Breakfast

Day 6: Korčula's beaches and unique vineyards

On this second day in Korčula you'll ride discovering his hidden coves, his unique small villages, and his dark pine forests.
You'll have a few loop options today. Whatever you choose, you will be making your way past vineyards, olive groves and along the beautiful coast of the island. Taste traditional food like homemade gnocchi, homemade macaroni, pastičada....and other meals which have been traditionally prepared by the locals for centuries. Some of the best Croatian white wines are produced on this island, which will just add flavor to your lunch or dinner. Did we mention Marco Polo lived here and has started his life journey from Korčula?

Overnight: Korcula
Included: Breakfast

Day 7: Pelješac peninsula and Dubrovnik

pelje-ac-peninsula-and-dubrovnik 6642

Today, for your final ride, you will cruise along the Pelješac peninsula and ride along the vineyards of Dingač and Postup, made from the Plavac Mali grapes, the close cousin to Zinfandel of California and Primitivo from Calabria. There are many wineries you can visit along the ride. Enjoy great views Pelješac is offering to you, on the islands Mljet and Korčula on your right and the mainland on your left. The ride today has a couple of hills, rides through the vineyards, nice coastal rides… Your final bike destination is Ston, from where you will be transferred to Dubrovnik. Ston, the salt producing village on the Pelješac peninsula was built in the 14th century and has the longest fortified walls in Europe - 5.5 km. Ston was an important town for the Dubrovnik Republic, which was the strongest and most prosperous in the 14th century which you are just about to see.

Overnight: Dubrovnik
Included: Breakfast

Day 8: Visit Dubrovnik and Departure

The Pearl of the Adriatic
visit-dubrovnik-and-departure 8457

According to your flight schedule, you can spend the morning exploring the old town with a private guide. George Bernard Shaw said “Those who seek paradise on Earth must come to Dubrovnik" and he was like many others overjoyed by the beauty and rich history of this old town under the UNESCO protection. Its glorious walls, with their fortresses and bastions, offer a unique walk with a view of the magical Elafiti islands. From the Onofrio fountain to the City bell tower, along its Stradun main alley and in many other small and quiet cobblestone streets, every step in this town will be an experience par excellence.

The Dubrovnik airport is at about half an hour from the city center.
We say Ciao, but we know you'll come back to the Med!
