Mediterras programs are operated by Mediterras Srl travel agency (VAT IT01216640910). The contract covering the program described is governed not only by the conditions set out herein but also by the contents of the D.Lgs. n. 79 23/05/2011 and its modifications, European Directive 2015/2302, and D.Lgs 62/2018. Under no circumstances will the organizer’s responsibilities be deemed to exceed the limits in the law quoted.
To confirm your reservation, Mediterras Srl must receive your deposit and trip application. The deposit fee required is generally 30% of the total amount (package+supplements). If you book less than 60 days before departure, you generally must give the total trip cost. If payment is not made when due, Mediterras Srl reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled.
If, for any reason, you need to cancel your trip, a penalty is payable as shown below (calculation is in calendar Days):

We recommend that all participants obtain trip cancellation insurance. Trip cancellation insurance must be purchased directly from the guest.
We are proud to bring you the highest quality standard on our tours. Sometimes, this means modifications may be made to this itinerary. Naturally, we will notify you of any changes affecting your arrival, departure, or lodging.
By renting a bike the renter declare that all persons making use of the bikes supplied to them have the ability and experience necessary to use them. Before their use, the renter must check and found the bikes to be in good working condition. Any malfunctions or breakages that occur to the bikes must be immediately notified to Mediterras Srl. Every modification or repair made to the bikes must be authorized by Mediterras Srl the renter declare that the bikes shall not be used in any other manner.
A credit card is required as a guarantee. Mediterras Srl will be authorized to debit the costs of repairing any damage sustained by the bikes during the rental period. If it’s demonstrated that the damage was due to a defect specific to the bikes, Mediterras Srl will reimburse the rental charges.
Mediterras Srl advises users to wear a crash helmet when using the bikes. Most of the bikes are not equipped with rear lights and bell, and therefore they may only be used from dawn to dusk. Customers are required to abide by the national highway code. They may not ride their bikes under the influence of alcohol, nor is the use of mobile telephones permitted while riding. Fines for infringing the highway code and any costs for retrieving the bikes shall be for the customer’s account. The renter will be held responsible for damages to or loss of the bikes or parts of it and bike accessories for the amount determined by the rental company according to standard market prices.
Mediterras Srl will do all in its power to deliver and collect the bicycle/s at the address agreed upon but occasionally reasons of force majeure or exceptional circumstances (heavy weekend traffic, road accidents or the lack of punctuality by customers) may occasion delays. However, customers will be immediately informed if and when such events happen. The drivers carrying out deliveries cannot change the bike’s setting. This is a paid service that can only be provided upon an express request. If Mediterras Srl cannot make the delivery/collection because of a no-show of the customer at the appointed time, all additional costs will be charged to the customer’s credit card. If changes are made to the address and/or time of delivery once the rental becomes operational, such changes must be communicated at least 48 hours before the previously agreed date. If the delivery address does not permit easy access for a van or easy delivery/collection of the bikes, customers must notify it to Mediterras Srl. Failing that, Mediterras Srl shall not be held liable for delivery delays, additional delivery charges, or non-delivery. The customer shall be exclusively responsible for ascertaining the possibility of delivery/collection and loading/ unloading.
