A cycling guide we’ll ride with you showing his region. A Van support with water, electrolytes and snacks, will be available if you want to skip the hardest climbs. Daily lunch featuring local and fresh products and dinners featuring traditional food.

Your journey begins in Tirana, where we’ll pick you up from the airport or your hotel.
From there, we head east to the peaceful village of Tushemisht, nestled on the shores of the UNESCO-listed Lake Ohrid. Once you’ve checked into your lakeside accommodation, take some time to unwind and take in the stunning views before we come together for a beautiful welcome dinner right by the water.
After a quick 20-minute morning transfer to Grabovice, it’s time to hop on our bikes and start the adventure. Today’s route winds through lush farmlands and quiet rural villages, guiding us to Otosevo on the edge of Lake Prespa. Known as Ohrid’s “hidden sister,” this peaceful lake is a remarkable ecosystem with underground springs that feed Lake Ohrid, offering a stunning introduction to the region’s wild beauty.
Leaving Otosevo, we tackle one of the journey’s true highlights: a spectacular climb into Galicica National Park. The ascent rewards us with sweeping, panoramic views of both Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid—an absolute dream for photography. Afterward, an exhilarating descent brings us to the vibrant, historic town of Ohrid, a true Balkan jewel and UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll have the afternoon to unwind before joining a guided walking tour to explore its ancient cobblestone streets, Byzantine churches, and scenic waterfront.
Bidding farewell to Ohrid, our path traces the meandering waters of the Black Drin River. We’ll pedal through lush valleys and peaceful villages steeped in rich Albanian heritage. Our journey for the day concludes in Debar, a fascinating town celebrated for its vibrant cultural tapestry and beautifully situated right on the shores of Lake Debar, the third stunning lake of our adventure.
Today we venture deeper into the wild, untamed landscapes of North Macedonia. Following the Radika River upstream, we’ll navigate through spectacular gorges and dense forests until we reach Mavrovo, a charming alpine town resting on the shores of Lake Mavrovo. It’s a ride that perfectly balances physical challenge with breathtaking natural beauty, featuring a steady climb right into the vibrant heart of the national park.
We start the day with a scenic 1.5-hour transfer toward the majestic Sharri Mountains near Tetovo, where we cross the border into Kosovo. From Gllobocica, we clip in for a rewarding 10-kilometer climb that immerses us in the breathtaking alpine scenery of Sharri National Park. The effort pays off with a long, sweeping descent into the famous ski resort town of Brezovica. Tonight, we rest and recharge in sheer luxury at a 5-star mountain hotel, complete with a spa and pool—a perfectly earned treat after a thrilling day in the saddle.
Get ready for a memorable day in the saddle as we conquer the 11 km climb up Prevalla Pass. The reward? An epic 27 km descent that sweeps us right into the heart of Prizren. Renowned for its stunning Ottoman architecture, ancient cobbled streets, and lively café culture, Prizren is arguably Kosovo’s most picturesque city. We’ll recharge with a delicious local lunch before setting off on a guided walking tour to explore its commanding fortress, beautiful mosques, and charming old town.
We transfer to Gjakova, a lively town known for its Ottoman history. Enjoy a well-earned rest day to explore the traditional bazaar, experience the vibrant local coffee culture, or simply relax and recharge your batteries before the final leg of our tour.
Our final ride is a spectacular cross-border journey. Setting out from Gjakova, we pedal through rolling hills and scenic mountain passes as we make our way back into Albania. The route perfectly balances challenging climbs with exhilarating descents, building up to a grand finale: sweeping, panoramic views over Lake Kukës, the fifth and final lake of our incredible adventure.
After enjoying a final breakfast together, we’ll transfer you to Tirana Airport for your journey home. It’s time to say our goodbyes, or rather, “until next time”, as we wrap up this truly unforgettable cycling exploration through the beautiful landscapes of Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo.
