The tour begins in the morning in Split, where you will meet your guides who will adjust the bikes for you. You will set off on a scenic coastal ride followed by a gentle ascent to the summit of Marjan park-forest, offering stunning views of the city and the nearby islands. Upon returning to the town center, you may wish to have lunch at one of the many restaurants with views of the Adriatic Sea. As the sun goes down, explore the ancient Palace and experience local culture during a private guided tour. Split is a vibrant urban hub filled with a variety of sights, sounds, and aromas, all thriving within its nearly two-thousand-year-old walls. Both locals and tourists in Split find themselves irresistibly compelled to spend much of their time within the 1,700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the most remarkable aspects of the palace is that authentic homes still exist within its ancient walls, where you can observe old women hanging their laundry in spots that once hosted discussions on state matters for the entire Roman Empire. This evening, we will enjoy a welcoming dinner at a family-run “Konoba.”

Brač is renowned for its stone cutting and carving heritage, with several significant buildings around the world, such as the White House in Washington D.C., the Hungarian Parliament Building, and Diocletian’s Palace constructed from its stone. We will visit a remarkable family-run art gallery showcasing unique furniture crafted from Brač stone, along with sculptures, paintings, jewelry, and remnants of an ancient stonemason workshop. After the visit, we will cycle to the coast, where, if time allows, we may have a brief swim before returning to Split.

We’ll begin our day with a leisurely bike ride around Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to 400 BC as an ancient Greek settlement. Along with renowned historical locations, you will uncover quaint and delightful towns while cycling through pathways lined with olive groves, vegetable gardens, orchards, and vineyards. We will savor a light Mediterranean-style lunch before continuing our bike journey through Hvar. The afternoon ride will lead us along one of the most picturesque routes, meandering through lavender fields and offering breathtaking views of the Dalmatian archipelago, including Vis, Korčula, Lastovo, Brač, and the Pakleni islands.
For the afternoon in Hvar, we recommend exploring the main attractions , wandering through the historic Venetian streets, visiting Europe’s oldest municipal theater, the Hvar Cathedral, as well as its various museums, galleries, and palaces. If you wish to truly immerse yourself in the Hvar atmosphere and “pomalo” lifestyle, the ideal option is to find a spot in the main square, which is one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning squares, and unwind with a glass of wine while taking in the city’s ambiance. Today’s trip will take us up the hills, alongside the coastline, and through vast vineyard landscapes. We will stop in Ston, a salt-producing village established in the 14th century, renowned for having the longest fortified walls in Europe, measuring 5.5 km.
